Growing up in a traditional Indian family, one often find themselves having their career path chosen for them and for me that path was in IT.
Somehow I found myself taking a Life Coaching course and instantly fell in love with a career path that was rooted in helping other people. I felt that here is a life path for me that matches my inner calling.
As I was leaving behind my teenage years and entering into adulthood, I found myself searching for deeper answers to many unanswered questions. My mind, my heart and my soul were searching for something more. In May 2010 I travelled to India where I stayed in an ashram for four weeks during an opening festival. It was here that those ever elusive questions were answered when I found myself a psychology trainer who taught and trained me in Eastern psychology. It was the first of many trips that would change my life forever.
I came back to the UK with a sense of purpose and a soul full of passion where I started my Psychology degree at university.
I completed my Psychology degree with a 2.1. Whilst studying Psychology at university was certainly informative and fulfilling, I still felt something wasn't complete. I wanted to go beyond theory and textbooks and experience what psychology meant for the real world and for real people.

Words will always fall short when trying to describing 3 full months in an ashram. I was based in the original temple and education hub of Bhuj Mandir in India. It was a truly a life of simple living and higher thinking.
Daily life consisted of waking up before 3am, bathing in the cool waters of a nearby lake, engaging in ashram services and studying spiritual literature. The routine and activity was the same but the experiences were rich and profound. No matter how busy the days were I was always energised and fulfilled by a force that was much greater than me.
This was my first deep and immersive experience in the world of self-enlightenment and just what I was seeking after completing my degree.
Coming back to a busy and chaotic life in UK was difficult but my mind had never felt so free and so nourished. I continued training to master my knowledge of Western psychology alongside Eastern psychology theories.
I completed my Life Coaching qualification with The Coaching Academy in London and thereafter started studying for NLP and taking on practice clients.

2015 was my year of yoga. I was always practising yoga but as a part of my training with my yoga master I pushed myself on this covering both theory and practical yoga on a daily basis.

Yoga is a lifestyle and I've become a big believer in the Eastern psychology behind yoga as well.
In every Psychologist's journey the first paid client is a huge milestone.
I was referred to a suicidal case where we had 6 sessions in total. I was able to stabilise this client and I got a taste of my first success at helping someone overcome their issues.
That individual soon became an adviser for me and many other businesses for marketing and branding.

Having learnt video editing before I knew this would be an essential skill for me in the future. I was able to apply my psychology knowledge and make emotionally engaging videos for the company I worked for at the time.

Artfully captured and edited videos that impact us emotionally have a lasting effect and I'm thankful I invested my time and energy into learning this skill.
In 2017 I went back into ashram life in India.

I always put pressure on myself to always stay in good form but my career situation at the time broke me down in various ways. I felt that going back into ashram life was what I needed to regain my balance and mental strength. My passion and drive to master psychology gave my trainers the confidence to invest their time in training me.
Training was hard and the hours were long. The day would consist of 8 hours of service and between 3 to 6 hours of Q&A time with my psychology trainer. He would always push me to dive deep into the depths of my mind.
I came on a open return ticket and knew I could not leave the ashram until I was ready. After 3 months of hardcore training, intense soul-searching and personal development, I can confidently say I now experience my days with a positive and stronger mindset. Since then every one of my clients have been success stories.
My first client, who was in marketing, got back in touch with me and helped me draft up a plan for my vision for Deeppsyc.
Whilst working a 9-5 job, I began building a foundation for my vision and Deeppsyc began to take shape,
That individual soon became an adviser for me and many other businesses for marketing and branding.

I was fortunate enough to be trained by the founder of NLP Richard Bandler.

It was one thing to know the theory but I had a personal coach to train me over a 7 month period so I could embed the this skill into my life and into my work.
Over the last 10 years my trips to India were mainly always based in an ashram but this time I found myself travelling to the Himalayas with great yogis and saints.

I wanted to document this journey to inspire others so I decided to vlog my experiences. The experience was spiritually uplifting and nothing like I had ever experienced before.

Training under the guidance of Paul McKenna was one of the best experiences of my life and I truly got to see the power of hypnosis first hand.
Prior to this I was practising hypnosis but perfected the process with Paul McKenna and learnt how anyone can be helped through hypnosis.

I completed 9 months in ashram and now it was time to head back to make an impact with all the training I had received.

My psychology trainer told me something that would become the foundation of my success:
'If I can help someone become freer in their mind then I would be fulfilling their invested effort and time in training me.'
I wrote up my projects plans for DeepPsyc and came back to the UK ready to get going.
Whilst plans to launch DeepPsyc were ready for 2020, we faced a global crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic and entered into a worldwide Lockdown.

Whilst events can not be hosted at this current time, we have decided that we will be running an online service of individual sessions for clients. After which we then plan to hold events for self-help psychology.

Having a humble beginning I had one thing to strive for and that is to attain mastery over my mind. Having seen and experienced individuals with self mastery levels beyond mine, I'll always stay curious and never stop learning
